Salve'12 Teens Summer Program

Salve'12

A 3 day Friendship with Jesus program – Salve 2012 was conducted by the Teens Ministry at Carmel Convent School, Banerghatta road for a group of 30 children from various parts of Bangalore, ranging from Classes VIII, IX, X and XI. Many of them had attended our previous summer camps. We were blessed to have the presence of Sr.Josna, the Principal of Carmel Convent School, all through the program. Fr. Antony Mahendran, Asst Parish Priest of Christha Prabhalaya Ephiphany Church and Fr. Varghese, National Pastor of JY celebrated the Holy Mass for us. Vinu (JY Teens National Team member) and Bangalore Teens Ministry members coordinated the program. The program consisted of music, prayers, sessions, activities, sharings and Eucharistic Adoration. As part of Outreach, we visited Swanthana, Home for mentally/physically challenged, run by the St.Camillus Sisters, on Sarjapur Road and spent time with the children there. The children and the volunteers treasured the time spent there as one of the most memorable moments of their lives.

'METANOIA 20011' Program

Teens Ministry of Bangalore has organized teens sumer camp 'METANOIA 20011', a 3 days program for class 7th to 10th students from May 19th to 22nd at St.Antony's School, Carmel Convent Campus, Near Dairy Circle, Bangalore.

Hi Every one,

First and foremost I thank our almighty God for His blessing and making us an instrument to conduct this program in a successful manner.

We feel that
Metanoia was a very graceful program. Each and every thing was taken care and guided by Holy Spirit. I remember that in the initial stage we discussed and cancel this program and after that we sat together and prayed and we got the word of God,"He said to the crowd: "When you see a cloud rising in the west, immediately you say, 'It's going to rain,' and it does".Luke 12:54, then we decided to go forth with this program. I believe that this is the beauty of this program, we feel many places that this program was chosen by God and his words helped me to take any challenges or burden.

Thanks to our

Schoenstatt school Program Report

Praise the Lord

St. John 6:68-69
“Simon Peter answered Jesus, Lord to who would we go? You have the words of eternal life and now we believe and know that you are the holy one who has come from God”.

On March 12th there was a one day Jesus Youth program conducted in Schoenstatt st. Mary’s school. The program was conducted for the catechism students from class 1 to 10. The program was conducted as a spiritual preparation before the final exam which would start from March 15th. The program started at 9am and ended at 4:30pm. At first there was a small prayer conducted by the students of the school. Then the program was proceeded by the Jy. There was icebreaking by bombing the city. The sessions were conducted separately for the students of 1st to 4th and 5th to 10th. There were many beautiful sessions. The session on Mother Mary was very much touching. Many action songs were taught, most of the students noted down the songs. God’s love was very nicely explained. There was a short session on confession and the sisters were surprised by seeing the number of students who came for confession. There was a session conducted separately for the boys and girls regarding the need to keep ourselves holy and the ways to keep our selves holy.
The program was concluded by Holy Mass.
